I have attended several seminars in Colorado and in Toronto with Sifu Fowler and several other black belts from my school. Great cross training for Kenpoists. Steven Cash Nickerson holds the rank of second degree black belt under Sifu Rick Fowler in Irving Texas. The black belt requirements at the school, in addition to basics, techniques, forms and sparring, include a thesis. Mr. Nickerson is CFO and General Counsel to one of the largest recruiting and IT consulting companies in the United States http://www.pdstech.com/and holds a BA from Carleton College, in Northfield, Minnesota, where he majored in Philosophy and English and holds a JD and MBA from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. He is an attorney licensed in five states, entrepreneur and professional manager. He sponsored the Inaugural Colloquium on of The Institute for Global Legal Studies at Washington University School of Law. He is mentioned in numerous articles and books, including the book, CEO's That Sell by Anthony Parinello, Darwin Magazine, Success Magazine and many others. He is an active member of the CEO Clubs and its SuperPac.
His interest in karate dates back to his years at Carleton where he studied Shotokan Karate in the late 70's. He cross trains in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu http://www.carlosmachado.net/, Kickboxing and Systema.
